green-yellow apatite crystal is intergrown with a breccia-matrix containing quartz, calcite, apatite fragments and pyroxene partly replaced by yellow nontronite. The transparent apatite crystal has a good lustre but also many internal fractures. It is mounted on a wooden base.

1.5x1.0 cm penetration twin crystal of apatite, associated with a matrix of quartz, chalcedony and calcite. The transparent honey-yellow apatite crystal exhibits internal fractures, but no damage on the crystal surfaces. The mass of calcite, quartz and chalcedony overgrows fragments of massive iron ore. The contrast between the white matrix and the apatite make this specimen especially attractive.
