OJ-04 :  Cuproadamite on matrix
Ojuela mine, near Mapimi, Durango
Specimen size: 14.5x10x7 cm
Description: on a matrix of limonitic gossan are sitting clusters of blue-green crystals of cupro-adamite and calcite scalenohedrons to 1 cm. The second image is a close-up showing the adamite clusters with individual crystals up to 1 cm in size. Cuproadamite is an adamite containing copper, causing a blue-green color, cuproadamite is not yet IMA approved.

Description: tabular hemimorphite crystals form sheaves to a length of 4 cm.

OJ-8: Adamite

Specimen size: W: 3.3, D: 1.5, H: 2.0 cm
Description: several crystals of olive-green adamite are sitting on a matrix of Fe- and Mn- oxides. The largest crystal is 1.5 cm long.

OJ-9: Manganoan Adamite
Ojuela mine, Mapimi, Durango
Specimen size: W: 8.5, D: 6.6, H: 4.0 cm
Description: A color-zoned crystal cluster (28x20 mm) of adamite crystals to about 1 cm length is sitting nicely on a matrix of red-brown gossan covered with dark-yellow limonite and tiny black spots of Mn-oxides. Especially the crystal tips of the adamite are colored deeply purple due to its manganese content.

Description: lustrous crystal clusters and single crystals of chlorargyrite are perched on white vein quartz with minor red limonite crusts. The green-yellow translucent and transparent chlorargyrite crystals to 3 mm exhibit complex crystal habits including cubic, octahedral and rhombohedral crystal faces.

Description: lustrous crystal clusters and single crystals of chlorargyrite are perched on white vein quartz with traces of Cu-oxides. The green-yellow translucent and transparent chlorargyrite crystals to 3 mm exhibit complex crystal habits including cubic, octahedral and rhombohedral crystal faces.
