Description: on a matrix of limonitic gossan are sitting clusters of blue-green crystals of cupro-adamite and calcite scalenohedrons to 1 cm. The second image is a close-up showing the adamite clusters with individual crystals up to 1 cm in size. Cuproadamite is an adamite containing copper, causing a blue-green color, cuproadamite is not yet IMA approved.

Description: A
color-zoned crystal cluster (28x20 mm) of adamite crystals to about 1 cm length is sitting nicely on a matrix of red-brown gossan covered with dark-yellow limonite and tiny black spots of Mn-oxides. Especially the crystal tips of the adamite are colored deeply purple due to its manganese content.
